concern number one:
to think of vessels in which time can be captured
“… A new and less conventional tableware collection called o! moon, with a design that reminds of nature’s organic shapes, even of bones … We brought it to El Bulli and realized that its radical design forced us to think about new ways of composing and presenting some of the dishes. Until very recently, we have not favored unconventional tableware designs but o! moon is making us reconsider somewhat. The o! moon plate demands that you think about the shape of the product that it will contain. Change is a constant in our dishes and our kitchen but change before o! moon came from other sources. The extreme nature of the o! moon concept has brought about change by allowing us to conceive certain recipes in relation to the shape of the container they will be presented on.The only thing left is to congratulate the excellent work of everyone who has made this design possible.” Ferran Adrià. “El Bulli. 2005”
"While in Cataluña the collection was called o! luna and was edited by Cerámica Industrial de Montcarga. In 2014 production moved to Portugal with Vista Alegre and renamed o! moon”
